Cookie Policy

What cookies we use
We use a small number of cookies to run Socratic Compass Home. We do not use cookies for advertising. Optional analytics on marketing pages go to Google Analytics only after you click Accept.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They keep you signed in, remember checkout, keep a try or classroom demo going if you refresh, and are deleted when they expire or when you clear your browser.
Payment cookies
When you open checkout or the billing portal, our payment provider sets cookies to process the payment securely. These are set by the payment provider, not by us, and are governed by their privacy policy.
Analytics
We record anonymous funnel events (for example, which subject a visitor tries first) to understand how the product is used. These events use a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie and are not shared with Google. If you click Accept on a marketing page, we also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits to the landing page, legal pages, and sign-up. That does not run on the tutor, try, chat, or parent dashboard. Google may set cookies such as _ga. You can choose Essential only instead.
How to manage cookies
On marketing pages you can Accept analytics or choose Essential only. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and checkout from working. For more about your data, see our Privacy Policy.
